About Us

Moores Garage was initially set-up by brothers Charles and Samuel Moore in Carlow in 1947. At that time we were based on Burrin Street and specialised in vehicle sales and service. We also sold & repaired agricultural machinery.
We are Carlow Town’s oldest family run motor dealership and over the years we have held many franchises, from Lawnboy Lawnmowers to John Deere Combine Harvesters!

In February 2007 we moved to the O'Brien Road, into a purpose built state of the art premises. This was our 4th move in 60 years. In 2013 we were appointed the Toyota Franchise. As a family run business our after-sales and workshop facilities are always kept to the highest standards.

We are proud to be the sole representative for the Toyota brand in Carlow town and county. A full and comprehensive range of new Toyota cars and commercials is always carried in stock in our large premises. With a full range of Toyotas available for demonstration there is something here for everyon

DIRECTIONS FROM DUBLIN:

Follow the N7 (Naas Rd.) south - direction Cork/Limerick. After the N7 turns into the M7 motorway follow it for about 8 miles. Follow signs for M9 Waterford & Carlow. Follow the M9 motorway until exit 4 and then follow the N9 road as far as Carlow Town (you will see the BRAUN buildings ahead of you). Turn left at the first roundabout. SA Moore Toyota is just up the road on your right.

DIRECTIONS FROM WATERFORD OR KILKENNY:

Heading North for Dublin on the M9 take exit 5 for Carlow town. Take a right at the Lidl roundabout, continue straight through the next roundabout. Sa Moore Toyota is just up the road on your left.

DIRECTIONS FROM ROSSLARE OR WEXFORD:

Follow the N11 North - direction Dublin. After leaving Enniscorthy follow signs for Carlow & the N80. This will bring you into Carlow on the Tullow Road. Take a right at the Lidl roundabout, continue straight through the next roundabout. Sa Moore is just up the road on your left.
